Possibly firing up the lines to build more pros. Trying to get into the head of Stern with regards to their posts on facebook isn't easy.
Isn't it obvious? They're going to start selling X-Men in kit form. Well, that, or new code... or they're messing with us. 
Just a cross-promotion (maybe)...based on something that was released on an X-Men twitter feed yesterday.
