Just picked up a HUO T3 and wanted to move the batteries to a safe location in the back box. I have a RS 4 AA battery holder. From what I have read, I need to jumper the first space in the holder. No diode is needed because there's already one on the board. Is this correct? I hope so because I don't have any extra diodes hanging around.

Thanks

Are you using the wood dowel method of relocation?

No. Soldering on remote pack.

I skipped the batteries altogether and went with an NVRAM chip. Easy on the T3 as its sockted. No batteries needed. Its been working great in my T3, Monopoly and A13 which all share the same board set.

That would be the way to go. I should do that too.
