Quoted from o-din:

This guy looks about the age of pinside's demographic. Looks way cooler than wearing an aligator golf shirt or a members only jacket.

And he's got a Stüssy windbreaker! Didn't know those guys were still around, or maybe he's into vintage.

Quoted from o-din:

With the brick, at least you can put it away in a box. Or take it out if you want to show it off.
With new $10,000 pinball machines, you are pretty much stuck looking out it no matter how terrible the rendition, or outdated or lame the theme. And that I wouldn't want to show that off to anybody.

Classic dorm-room trick, prop your mattress legs up on a few of those Supreme bricks and you can wheel your new Stern game right underneath to hide it when company comes over.

Quoted from fisherdaman:

I personally find it sad that someone has enough money to buy a 104k trunk, yet many American's struggle to afford housing. I'm a skater and I hate everything supreme stands for.

Didn’t realize they were a skateboard company, must have been back before they got into the money printing business.

I'd rather own a pinball machine than a branded brick..

Well there's no accounting for taste!

shouldn‘t the sticker be vertical?

Quoted from DBLM:

Because I am day drinking, and for the uninitiated, I will say this one more time.

Thumbs up for the day drinking. I appreciate that you’re fighting the uphill battle explaining collector behavior (which is fundamentally irrational) to a bunch of collectors, who can’t grasp it because the collectible at issue isn’t the one they collect. Good luck and Godspeed!

Visiting Boston today and chanced by this place. I can report they offer a Supreme selection of Slim Jims and pet food.

Quoted from o-din:

I only have so much money to throw away.

Speaking of which, how’s the back yard makeover coming along?

Quoted from motorbreth77:

So you still don't get it?

$3k for the home ed. pin
$1k for the new DMD dots
$34.75k for the rare, pinball-sized Supreme stickers

What’s not to get? If you’re into pinball and don’t care about Supreme this seems crazy. If you’re into Supreme, whether or not you care about pinball, this just might make sense.

Is that a legit photo? I thought Neil was super opposed to branding etc.

Quoted from o-din:

Not sure what model you are talking about, but many seem to buy an expensive new car just to have an expensive new car when the old one still works fine.

I hope you’re not referring to me dumping my 17 year old Civic for a new Accord last month. Still feeling a little self-conscious about it, I guess.
