Maybe it is $2000 for the machine and $18000 for the word "Supreme".
I think I can get by without Supreme in my life, but I am just a simple guy.

I have to admit that if I saw a supreme machine at a store or other location, I would probably deposit $1 to play the machine one time, just to see what all the fuss is all about. It would be worth a dollar just to find out for myself... If it has a high score maybe I could get my initials in the Supreme position.
Quoted from o-din:This guy looks about the age of pinside's demographic. Looks way cooler than wearing an aligator golf shirt or a members only jacket.[quoted image]
I like alligator shirts... And that guy has on what appears to be photo gray glasses that look a lot like mine. He has a nice shave and looks like a respectable guy to me... He also has a Supreme hat, which I don't have, so he must have friends or something. I usually just wear hats that I get for free.
Quoted from CLEllison:I remember ~ 7"ish" years ago, right about the time phone apps started to become popular some dude wrote a program that specifically gave a background of a precious gem. IIRC the application cost $6k. No shit, $6K for something that DUMB. Guess what? A couple Hollywood folks bought it. Paris Hilton was one of em. Someone with more money than brains will buy this as well. This is nothing short of a status symbol.
I guess if you have a lot of money, you can purchase things that most people might not consider.
When you have just enough money to live a normal existence, things take on a different perspective.
The background on my phone can be changed on the settings, but I never considered purchasing something custom to make it unique to my phone.
Just not on my list of things to do...
The phone works and the screen is not cracked and I guess I am satisfied with that.
Quoted from DBLM:This collectible has a higher upside than most pinball machines out there (TBL, etc.). The value is not that it is a pinball machine or a particularly good pinball machine. The value is that there is an extremely limited and expensive product that is unique in a collection of limited products that a hot company releases on a semi annual basis. The fans of this company have disposable income and want to have the weirdest, most limited collaboration that this company (Supreme) puts out. I know it is hard for pinball people to grasp this, but stop thinking of it as a pinball machine. I’d speculate that this sells for 36-40k before buyer’s premium.
I genuinely hope that Supreme succeeds with this bid offering and is wildly successful.
Perhaps they can draw in new people that have enough money to make a difference.
There will likely be maintenance opportunities for these people also...
That Supreme machine is going to need maintenance just like any other pinball machine and these people will not likely be doing that.
Quoted from o-din:Point is Supreme is not marketed to old, out of touch people.
I think this group might include me...
Not on facebook, snapchat, twitter, instragram or anything else and my friends all tell me that I am still living in 1976.
I tell them that if they want to talk to me, that they can look me in the eye and say whatever they want to.
Sometimes you can read a lot about a person from their body language.
If that makes me out of touch, so be it...
Quoted from CrazyLevi:It didn't (and I know because I was on the site trying to buy one). There was no published number anywhere for how many they made.
I believed it was much closer to 20 than 100 but again that's just speculation.
I wonder if it has a serial number...
