Ok so what is the deal with this Supreme? Someone contract Stern to build it? Why so expensive?

Quoted from o-din:It's a brand license that is happening now that younger people actually care about.
Thanks . Yea I searched Supreme after posting. No hate here. Apparently its a rehashed spiderman? Was this a contracted game like Primus?
Well whatever it was, surely these crazy prices for a game like this can't stay there. It seems like this is being bought more for the "lifestyle" tie in by rich kids, not for pinball itself. Once something new and shiny comes along, these kids will dump them I assume?
Quoted from GorillaBiscuits:NYC has a couple of them... one at a long-standing beloved bar called Max Fish and another at Sunshine Laundromat. I’ve played both, and honestly, considering they could have pulled a Magic Girl here and the base market wouldn’t give a shit... it’s actually a really fun game!
Lots of fast satisfying shots, a neat lock mechanism that was the pre-cursor to Deadpool, old school stripped down rules, and the sound effects are awesomely cheesy 80s-themed retro samples.
It has a throwback rule set that makes it purely points driven and I’ve always had a blast playing it.
Worth the market price? Hell no! No pinball is more than 10k worth of fun, period.
But... all things considering, it’s not a complete abomination and I have no problem dropping a few bucks into it when I’m around one. If Stern made it into a generic theme and priced it like a home edition I’d be all over it though!
Thanks. I was curious if this was a decent pin, or just slapped together contract deal. Looks cool, I think lol.
Quoted from Freeplay69:Someone wanted a Supreme banner, here you go.

$5,000
Quoted from o-din:Yeah, there was an NIB one local recently for $100k. I was told $75k could have it.
I made a lower offer than that just to be able have my dream theme, unbox it and impress you guys when I came back, but no deal!
Wonder if they will be worth shit when they come up in garage sales and craigslist at some point. I search forSupreme locally in the event something like that happens and they dont know what the original cost.
On a side note, these gotta be one of the most exclusive "Supreme" offering to date? Probably not though.
