Quoted from jandrea95:

I liked all 3 seasons but I felt 2 was the weakest. I really wasnt feeling whatever they were trying to do with the Chicago kids. Just felt like they tried to incorporate someone elses idea and then literally made no mention of it since. I thought 3 was spectacular, but obviously everyone has an opinion.

Yeah. I kept waiting to see if they were going to tie that into something....but no.

Quoted from aingide:

I’m curious about whether or not Brian Eddy will continue his tradition of working with a centralized, multi-state mech. And if so, what could it be?
I think a “portal” ramp to the Upside Down in the back like the LOTR ring would be cool. Maybe a standup or two in front of it...standups could be Russians, demons, whatever makes sense for that mode. When you finally get through the portal there’s a little moment where the GI changes to blue and you’re in the Upside Down.
I can’t think of many interesting central mechs that’d be compelling and work to start multiple modes.

That would be cool. I like that portal shot idea to enter the upside down.

Thank god!
Bring it on Stern. For me, this is an IP they'll have to really mess up for it not to be exciting.

Yeah. Maybe it'll keep your attention for 6 days.

Quoted from phil-lee:

Stern will probably cheap out like Jurassic Park and do a quarter of the full Licensing. I really liked the first season but found season 2 hard to watch. Not sure it can recapture 1st season magic with the child actors aging out. Not a show I'm looking forward to in the future, if it survives.

Quoted from VegasMike:

One thing is for sure - the font artist sure loves their exclamation points! They are on almost every insert! Makes it so much more legible! Especially when there are so many inserts to begin with!

But Final Showdown doesn't. You'd think that one would!

Quoted from Zablon:

Quick someone with a big collection through history go take the glass off all of them and drop a pinball from the ceiling onto the playfields and measure the dimples so we can put this to rest once and for all. For science!

Quoted from DeadFlip:

Here is some more unedited convention show floor video for ya per some requests.
From the bright convention floor.
The graphic that is being projected when you hit start is dim (the wall with the letter). Literally all other footage from the projector is bright and sharp. ‍♂️

Enough with your photographic proof an first hand knowledge. We shall have none of that here.

Quoted from paul_8788:

Well if Cary Hardy thinks it’s bad, I guess I won’t even try it.

I can't watch more than 30 seconds of his videos.

Quoted from Skyemont:

Why because he is dead on with his comments and you are a + + + + + fanboy.

I actually find nearly all videos of people yapping on and on unwatchable.

#5750 4 years ago
Quoted from Guinnesstime:

He rates 13 games as perfect 10.000. Then for 25 pins, he goes Soviet Judge and rates below 6.5 and down to 2. I'd take this w/a grain of salt.

He also stalks anyone who gives him a down vote and goes through their post history and down votes their posts as revenge. Damaged goods, this one is.

#5766 4 years ago
Quoted from jandrea95:

There is a difference in being honest, and just rambling on for 30 plus posts about how garbage everything is. Literally before you knew ANYTHING about the game you felt compelled to talk about your disdain for the show itself. You literally had ZERO interest in the game, yet shit on it, for 30 plus posts. If that isn't being negative, I would hate to see how you define it.
You are obsessing over something you have no control over. We get it, you hate the game, hate the show, and hate every single aspect of the machine. There will literally ALWAYS be a game with more technical value than (insert random game x here), who cares? I have the game sitting next to Metallica, which is a masterpiece in my opinion, yet I have 500 plays in just over 2 weeks on Stranger Things, and look forward to cracking a beer and playing more tonight.

Your're trying to reason with the unstable. Don't waste your time.

#5795 4 years ago
Quoted from rs812:

Anyone bothered by the comparatively minimal adjustments needed on Stranger Things would be well advised to steer clear of JJPOTC.

Huh. I've owned my POTC for almost a year and have yet to open the back box or lift the playfield. It's been worry free since day one.

Edit. I lied. The left sling hammer did slip past the rubber twice.

He's more than few screw turns short.

People defending this are only opening the doors for Stern to really f you in the ass in future games. What's next? After you purchase a game, they announce that for the low price of $300, they will send you a code to unlock a characters voice, activate a diverter to a subway, additional modes.....? It's endless what they can do once they realize the sheeple will keep shelling out money.
