Yeah I am pretty impressed based on this short video. Can’t wait to see more! This absolutely represents a new innovative take on pinball. Glad to see stern trying new things!! This may be my first NIB...want to see the full reveal!

So what is the fallout from the leak of that video? Clearly Stern wasn’t happy about the leak and requested it get shut down on YouTube (which it has). How did the actual release video get leaked to begin with? Yes we all know Chris posted it first but how did he get his hands on it? That wasn’t the usual shitty grainy cell phone captures from the webinar it was the legit teaser video. How much hell broke loose at stern marketing department?
Quoted from Crile1:Quote from the release article: "And the Stranger Things machine probably won’t be cheap — on one dealer’s website, the cheapest version of the Jurassic Park machine cost an eye-watering $5,799, so assuming the Stranger Things machine is even in that ballpark, it will probably be pretty spendy."
And this is why it is a niche hobby...sigh.
Yeah - and look at the bottom of the article. Prices went up again. Pro is now $6099.
LE looks fantastic. Best art of the bunch and the trim color is perfect! Really want to see this game play.
So now that the reveal on IGN happened, when do we get to see the list of locations that have unboxings today? And when does Deadflip confirm streaming for today as part of the supposed "media blitz"?
So for something like this projector to work there are two things that are critical to be set and maintained throughout usage.
Focus and Orientation/Aim
A pinball machine gets jostled around constantly during play, so much vibration. Then you have routine maintenance...playfield going up and down, etc. I am sure they put some thought to this but I am really curious how this will hold up over time. To get this to work on so many different surfaces, some extremely small (the tiny standups for example), they need to really ensure that this thing cannot lose its perfect position or focus...
If its off even by a hair the entire effect could be compromised.
