Stranger Things looks better than I expected. That screen that becomes a ramp? Pretty epic.

I like the screen that becomes a ramp, but the two partial screens on either side that stay up look strange. Surprised they didn’t just make the whole thing turn into a ramp.
Is this an actual leak? Hard to imagine Stern gave this to Kaneda on purpose, isn’t it? Or was this a peace offering?
Quoted from Multiballmaniac1:On the fence. Shit tspp has more features than the premium.
One of the greatest and most packed games ever is better than this? Well, yeah.
Quoted from chuckwurt:That’s the word.
Would love to see a full new build for LZ, but beggars can’t be choosers. Insta-buy.
Quoted from Yelobird:can’t believe I’m saying this but Iron Maiden is starting to look like a masterpiece
Archer was a masterpiece.
Quoted from TomGWI:I really hope not. I like Quicksilver, I like Led Zeppelin but I don’t want a remake from a game from the 80s. If Beatles wasn’t a Seawitch Remake I would have bought it.
I get your point, but Beatles remake is actually a great game.
Quoted from kermit24:The Quicksilver remake version of LZ isn’t happening. Smoke and mirrors or change of plans, but it’s now a full blown Pro / Premium / LE release.
Is this a known thing? Somehow I missed that. Would be a great thing if they did a full release.
Quoted from pinmister:BTW-looking forward to coming down and playing your R & M when you get it.
Any time. And maybe I can come play your Stranger Things LE?
I’m sure it will be fun, but it looks like Eddy threw this layout together in about 5 minutes. Uninspired.
Quoted from TigerLaw:AFM is well coded because it is so balanced in its scoring. There are three distinct paths to follow if you are playing in a tourney and that is pretty rare.
I agree, and this is why AFM should be above MM on the Pinside rankings.
Star Wars is the best recent game for forcing the action. That ever-expiring multiplier really punishes holding the ball for very long.
Had a nice session on STh last night. I enjoyed the game, but I think it will be a frustrating game for weaker players. The ball often drains rapidly off of drops in the middle. The right ramp is tough. Lots of sling-outlane drains. The demogorgan shot was hard (but not impossible, as people have said), we averaged maybe 3 tries before making it.
I agree with the general critique of the right orbit, but it is actually a pretty easy and helpful shot. The left orbit is more interesting, but you really have to hit it well to get it all the way up the ramp and around.
It's got to be a setup issue. I played with a Pinsider friend yesterday. We were hitting the demogorgan easily. Usually on the first or second attempt.
I’ve put quite a few games on STh. Maybe 50+. I think it’s a great game. My only concern is that random location players won’t be able to get a mode started, much less get a shot at the demogorgan. I think they’ll give it a try because of the theme, and then walk away in frustration.
I have a few questions about my Stranger Things LE.
Sometimes, when I've locked one ball, then hit a second ball up the ramp when the second lock has not yet been qualified, it releases those 2 balls into a weird 2 ball multi ball. Is that intentional?
I'm having difficulty making the left ramp shot. It seems that the metal diverter doesn't actuate very much. Is it supposed to move more than a couple of millimeters? I'm not sure what the expected behavior is.
Upon hitting the left inner shot (the mystery shot), the ball sometimes gets stuck between that gate and the adjacent metal guide. Has anyone had this same ball hangup? Solutions?
Thanks in advance!
So, what happens when you have one ball locked and then hit a ball up the ramp WITHOUT locks qualified?
I think maybe my arm isn't functioning normally. I don't think the ball ever passes by the arm without touching it.
Quoted from chuckwurt:Check here. Make sure all the parts of the mech are to spec based on sterns checklist.

You May still have issues after you’ve checked all this. If so, stern is helping us with a permanent fix. I think it has to do with the flipper power not being consistent after long periods of play.
This helped quite a bit. It seems to be working most of the time. Thanks.
