Quoted from Psw757:

I thought the topper was supposed to be available last week?
Any news?

I was wondering the same thing.

Seriously Stern and Disney, WTF are you guys doing?? You could have released a F-ing Jar Jar Binks topper months ago and people would have bought it. But now you’ve seriously missed the boat! Stupid

... yeah man, check out my mass produced Star Wars Pro pin with a Limited Edition numbered topper...

Quoted from Coz:

...It still looks unfinished.

Completely agree

I try to put toppers on all of my pins. Hundreds of dollars spent on silly light up decorations on top of an expensive toy. It's probably not the best thing to spend money on. But...spending 8, 9, 10k+ on a toy is probably not much better.
IMO toppers are ALL overpriced for what you actually get, but I still buy them. Because I like them. They look great up there!

GOTG only lights up (400). TWD too (400). DP at least has a spinning thumb (400). BM66 projector is really cool (250 I think). Although the BM66 Villians topper only lights up and costs 600! (I didn't buy this one).
So... even though I feel that the new SW one looks like the base is unfinished, AND I feel that having LE badges on toppers is a really silly idea, I DO think that a moving, light up, beeping R2D2 looks really cool up there. If I still had my SW I'm sure I would want this topper. It's only 150 more that the Villians topper. At least it moves!

We (the pinheads) need to remember that we spend LOTS of money on toys. LOTS! We shouldn't judge guys because they spend more money on lights or mods or decorations. And we definitely shouldn't judge guys for their decision to spend their money on toys VS their homes (or anything else).

Quoted from zermeno68:

..Does someone know if any of the recent Stern Toppers (Walking Dead, Black Knight, Munsters) are controlled by the code or is it only connected for power??

Controlled by code. That’s why they have their own node boards.
BM66 batsignal corresponds with the batphone during gameplay.
DP adjusts “thumbs up or down”.
GOTG rgb’s change colors to correlate to the mode you are playing.
TWD flashes white when walkers make growl noises.
Etc.

On another note, I remember a setting in the adjustments in SW for an R2D2 topper projector. Did Stern remove that planned function of the topper? If so, that sucks.

Quoted from Psw757:

Not sure if there was ever a projector setting but other than the motor setting the only other adjustments I see are for topper attract mode interval and attract mode sounds for topper.
If anyone is good at pinball browser you could always open the code up and see if there is any hologram images or video files associated with the topper. If it was in the code update when those settings were implemented it would be there.

It was definitely there before. They must have removed it.
