Quoted from delt31:If you're decisions impacted only you, sure - do what you want and waste your money. The problem is if there are enough people like you, buy all of these dumb overpriced toppers and send the wrong message to these companies, we all pay the price (literally) as new items will follow the same path (overpriced, limited quantity, etc).
So yeah - I'll speak up when I think companies are checking to see how stupid we are as a community and folks like you proudly say - really stupid....here's my money.
lets just say there is a great market opportunity on toppers in this hobby.
I'm sure someone can make a ten Times better topper, at half the price.
I've said it before, we need more smart and Creative people in this hobby.
Hackers etc. Get more young people in this hobby and issues such as this and f. Ex. Beatles game only having a few songs,
will solve themselfs.
Quoted from paynemic:This is my question. Can someone intercept the code calls and make a custom mod topper that does more when the code signals simple r2 movements?
As i've said in another thread. Pinball needs more kids aka hackers.
Is the movement and lights dmx controlled similar to a moving head?
Mod-wise i sure look forward to a time of more code-hacking and more accessories integrating with code and gameplay.
This combined with new accessory ball-locks etc and what some good people doing with the jp sound is great.
Quoted from RockfordReplay:I'm curious if your topper positions flush to the cabinet. Anxious to see inside too.
I can't say the topper assists with game-play, but would be interesting to see a laser pointer spotting an easter-egg shot. Feels like a nuisance more than a helper, however great fun for the on-lookers. Here's a gameplay vid with the topper;
Thats the uggliest thing i ever seen.
Maybe you can cover it with a big black plastic bag, to atleast avoid the Light bleed.?
Quoted from Tseamans:Well since a game play vid was posted, I won’t add another one. I will show what happened when I received mine.
Much talk about what it can Do.
According to the noice, it can probably smoke, if you leave it on for a couple of minutes.
Quality stuff for sure. I bet you the parts goes for around 10$ in your not so local chinese radioschack.
Quoted from Yoko2una:Holy hell, Disney should’ve held out another 2 years until Stern could hire someone to apply stickers straight!

Rofl.
Thats quality right there.
And to all thoose worrying about the motor noice, I'm willing to bet the motor will have stopped making noice within a year or so.
