Quoted from ChipScott:

Modding this game can be a ton of fun too. I added some mods with how I managed to do it, and you can check those posts 2512, 2532, 2533 and 2540 for ideas on how-to's. Once you're finished post your pics!

Haven’t been following the thread close enough, so my apologies if repeated. Just installed new code, first game in the groove rockin and rollin, blowing up Escape from Hoth and Hyperspace Multiball, crossing 3bil, and bam, flippers died, system locked, reset. Wtf haha

Quoted from Pinballpal:

Are you going to be doing any streaming of Star Wars?

Would love to find some time to play SWPrem on stream.

Quoted from Yelobird:

Did you do the Stern capacitor upgrade recall? Mine did the same prior not sure if your issue is the same. Maybe you just play to awesome Or the game was afraid of a bad SDTM review!

Quoted from imagamejunky:

Hey Zack. Check all of your ethernet cables in the machine. Make sure they're all snug in their ports.

Exactly what I was looking for. Appreciate the tips fellas!

Quoted from bgwilly31:

Recently picked up a SW Premium.
Im loving it but a couple things tick me off.
1.) I was told by multiple people the deathstar shot was back handable? Ive tried and tried on my machine with no success. I can barely even hit the ramp, i believe a couple of times its rattled halfway up it. Am i missing something here?
2.) When the DS inner loop is down. So it just goes around the inner loop. The ball almost always exits and paths SDTM> I hate stuff like this. Nothing like hitting a shot just to be punished for doing so.
3.) Auto launch drains make me sad, also the occasional botched manual plunge. Not sure why but about 30% of the time my full plunge ricochets off something in the shooter lane and completely missed the Multiplier bank of targets.
My game is brutal. Im not a bad player at all. Place top 7 most of the time in local tournaments. But i cant manage over 1.5 billion. And the majority of my games are in the 350 million range. Granted im still learning the game (Probably only around 35 plays). But i have a feeling my game plays exceptionally brutal.

No way to backhand on my prem

Star Wars: The Pin
Unboxing, Setup, & Gameplay

Quoted from Kmoirkne:

Pro question. I must be missing something. I’m trying to figure out what the deal is with my settings and I just don’t get the game. I can shoot the ball and not even get a chance to use the flippers before it goes down the middle or out the lanes all on its own.
I know I’m a mediocre player but have several nib pins and this the only pin I have that will always go out the sides or straight down the middle right after a shot or hitting a bumper. I have tried 6 and 7 degree angles and it’s perfectly level.
Is this normal and I just really suck at the game?

It’s a common adjustment that at times needs to be made. For an easy fix, I’d try to see if the game has a power adjustment on that coil or flipper. If not, the try bending the exit of the plunger lane a hair left or right.

Quoted from John_I:

Looks better than I was expecting. Simple, but looks well made with the metal ramps and new speaker panel. Even the dots are nice. As a supporter of Project Pinball charity, I'm hoping a lot of these make it into Children's hospitals. This is a perfect game for that purpose.

I will say, it shoots the part. The play feels like a commercial pinball machine with a damn good layout.

Contact your distributor for a walkthrough. If you don’t have any luck with that, contact me at Flip N Out Pinball.

Quoted from Who-Dey:

Every topper i have ever bought i have pretty much felt like i got bent over. The price of this topper takes getting bent over to a whole new level though. If they sell more than three of these I will be in shock.

I personally love the Stern toppers. Some of the discontinued ones (Walking Dead, Ghostbusters, KISS) were poo pooed when they were available but now people are paying more than new prices for used ones and they are still difficult to find. They are pricey, as are the machines themselves, but people like me love them and see them as a great way to dress up their toys

Quoted from Who-Dey:

I love them too Zach but the price of this topper is just stupid. There is a limit to what people are willing to pay for something even if they do have the financial means to do so, and I think Stern just exceeded that by a mile.

Only time will tell. We have taken more orders for this topper already than other stern toppers we sell.
