Quoted from Mad_Dog_Coin_Op:Good choice. It is a butt kicker but you always want to come back for more abuse.
That's part of the draw, really! I am quite new to the hobby (have been playing for <=1 year or so), but I am finding that I enjoy pins that have deeper rule sets and a plethora of options available to the player; keeps the game interesting for longer, and gives you something to work towards and achieve
Quoted from Mad_Dog_Coin_Op:Has anyone put a Stern Stormtrooper shooter rod on their Comic Premium? I’m on the fence and not sure if the color scheme is going to work. If so, can you post a photo. Thanks in advance.
I put the Stormtrooper shooter rod and plate from Tilt Graphics (https://www.tiltgraphicsinc.com/product-page/star-wars-shooter-rod) on my SW Comic Premium, and I enjoy it

Quoted from Mad_Dog_Coin_Op:Thanks, that actually might be a better option. I like the sculpt of the Stern one better but the rod coming out of the neck seems odd. Your choice seems to be the better package. Anyone have the Stern one Installed for a comparison?
Yeah, I wasn't a fan of the Stern rod looking straight up at the player, so was glad to have found the TG one that looks out from the cabinet instead. I agree that I like the sculpt better on the Stern one, though.
Quoted from r0ddan:I have read quite a few posts about the issue and how sensitive the game is to levelling. And I get it. If the game is tilted to the left, then the return from the inner loop will miss the right flipper and go sdtm. But if you miss the perfect pitch by 0.1 °, really? No way... That's a design issue and not a levelling issue in my book. So any thoughts about that besides levelling are welcome.
I have just come to accept that there is no way I'm going to be able to level these games as perfectly as I would like (or as it seems may be required), especially considering in my case, they're in a garage with a slightly sloped floor, and I've had a hell of a time working with the damn levelers in the first place. Instead, they just require quite a good bit of physicality when playing to keep the ball alive when things get hectic...Hell, even when things aren't hectic! Nonstop nudging, slap saves, and slide saves to keep balls going in this game
Quoted from Chalkey:Might be getting a premium. Looked in this thread and 0 relevant key posts. Shame, OP!
Went through the last 10 pages, what do I need to know other than make sure it's at 6.5? Does the hyperloop magnetize chrome pinballs?
I've had the Comic Premium since May, haven't changed out the stock Stern balls that came with it, and have had zero issues.
Quoted from javagrind888:A buddy of mine is wanting to buy his first pinball machine ever and wants to buy a Star Wars Comic Edition premium. Looking for a good distributor that doesn't charge internet sales tax and free shipping. Any recommendations? I figured this would be the best place to look before researching on my own.
Thanks
That was my exact first pin, a NIB Star Wars Comic Edition Premium, that I got in May this year! Jason at Classic Game Rooms in Georgia (I’m in Washington state) was (and has continued to be with other pin purchases since) awesome, and his price was great. Highly recommend!
Anybody else have the lightsaber shooter lane mod from Mezel Mods (made by 2Niro Pinball) stop working after updating to v1.10?
Quoted from F-2NIRO:in this version, the OS has changed and the computer communication too, the µ controller of the lightsaber no longer recognizes the communication protocol, we must not install this update because the lightsaber will no longer work, we will work on a new firmware version in the course of 2021, it will take time because it will not be easy and I will have to get the pinball machine to analyze the signals.
Thank you for the info!
PSA: The 3D start buttons that SkyKing2301 makes are *chef's kiss*. We got a set for all the machines we have that he currently makes them for (all but BKSOR at the moment), and here is how the SW one looks installed w/ the green backing:
