Quoted from Elvishasleft:

As for the premium vs pro debate I can say I 100% prefer the pro after owning both for a while... plays faster and shots are smoother to me.

This is the debate I’m currently in with myself.

I want a comic version, but I go back and forth of pro vs premium.

The pro I played seemed “faster” for some reason vs the (very limited) time I spent on a premium. Not sure if that’s an actual thing or if the premium wasn’t set up well.

Do you think you’ll miss the premium features? Why or why not, if you don’t mind. Like i said, just looking for more opinions since I’m currently in this boat.

Thanks.

Thanks, fellas.

So I just joined the club, boys. Picked up a SW Comic Pro from Marco’s today.

Love it. Absolutely beautiful pin.

Couple questions....

1) the leveler looks like the bubble is way, way off, but I tried adjusting it to where the bubble was in the middle...lmao...it was like playing downhill. Not ideal.

Where it is now it “feels” right.

Is this an issue? I’m so confused.

Also...my right side GI is completely out. Thoughts? Something come unplugged during transport?

Thanks.

Actually....I just looked at my earlier pics to confirm.

It was definitely all working a few mins ago.

Wtf did I do?

Went to menu

Says in Node Board test that

1 (cabinet)
8 (lower playfield)
9 (middle playfield 1)
10 (lamps only)

"Not responding"

——-

Unplugged it and plugged it back in: working.

Should I call Marco’s tomorrow? Do I have a node board going bad or is this normal?

#9442 3 years ago

For those with the comic version, what art blades did you go with? Pics?

#9446 3 years ago

Thanks fellas. Those look great on both of your machines.

Gonna order me a set of those ASAP

Quoted from Karl_Hungus:

You should also check out the color brackets for the FORCE targets and the character LEDs from Pin Monk vireland. They make a big difference and are easy to install.

Ohhhhhh momma...those look sexy AF.

I went ahead and ordered the Stern comic blades. Man, they look good installed.

#9449 3 years ago

So I ordered some mods today:

Got the FORCE targets and character LED inserts from pinmonk.

The Comic Art Blades from Stern.

And from Mezel I ordered:

- Pro Millennium Falcon
- mini LCD armor
- LIghtsaber flipper toppers
- Decal for my PinGulp

Now I just have to find time to install everything...lol.

Has anybody tried trough lighting? If so, what color did you go with?

I really like it on my Munsters Pro. Thinking about putting it on my SW as well.

Quoted from Trindawg:

Here’s a pic of the green trough light. [quoted image]

Nice!

Does it affect the spinner? I know on my Munsters Pro it turns the spinner a green color...and it’s in roughly the same place as it is on SW.

had this pin for almost a week now. it's so fast. it's so fun.

#9479 3 years ago

I thought Star Wars had a Midnight Madness mode....?

Made sure my clock was correct and played past midnight and no mode.... hmmmmmm.

#9481 3 years ago
Quoted from crujones4life:

I think I read it was removed in an update for some reason. Sucks ... I thought it was cool.

Boo.

#9488 3 years ago

I was under the impression code on this one was finished.

Is there a chance of another update? Like you guys, I’d love to see more clips and, of course, midnight Madness.

#9516 3 years ago

Adding a 2 second ball save from the scoop isn’t a bad idea either...

Quoted from Palmer:

I am looking to pick up a comic pro this weekend which has the R2D2 topper. I'd like to offset the cost of the game by selling the topper. Does anyone know what they sell for on the open market and is there a demand for them? Looks like they retail for $700?

Quoted from JonCrox:

Find the extra dosh and keep the topper! I just installed mine and its silly how a badly made over priced thing like this makes me smile constantly!

I have the topper on my Comic Pro and I have to agree. If at all possible, figure out a way to budget in the extra $$

The topper is wonderful.

But I get it. It’s a lot of money. Good luck.

Quoted from ralphwiggum:

If someone likes these cards, and would be willing to take a few pictures of them installed on their comic book edition in exchange for a free set, please let me know.

Yeah, I got you.

Quoted from Psw757:

Too bad there isn’t more Vader/Palpatine for ball drains or even Jabba.
Pipe dream here but if there were ever to be a code update it would be cool as shit to have a dark side (empire)mode where you can select gameplay to be Vader or a combination of Empire characters.
Doesn’t need the selectable inserts since it’s the Dark side. Could be random empire missions to complete.
Ok back to reality now, lol

All of this.

Then inject this custom mode directly into my veins.

Quoted from MrMikeman:

The official answer to that question is no there isn't. There WAS in early code but it was removed at the behest of.... who knows. Probably Disney.
The reality is that they only made the option to enable it invisible in the settings but some folks have found a way to enable it.

Would those some folks be able to share that info? I’m a sucker for Midnight Madness modes.
