We just picked up a SW's premium last week & this machine is incredible! Last night I somehow managed to get to the Jedi Master wizard mode w/ a final score of 6 billion +. The lightshow, the lightning fast gameplay, the rule objectives & the theme integration is just simply phenomenal pinball.
My only slight letdown is that the exploding death star mechanism is under utilized. Is the mode "Destroy The Death Star" the only mode that triggers this toy? I've had approximately fifty plays on SW's & have only seen the star explode twice. Is there another mode or something adjustable in settings that would trigger the star more often?

Thanks PrinzFred for the insight into the exploding death star. I will definitely give your strategy a try later on this evening. This machine is so intense & addictive, that at this time this title is absolutely a top ten & worthy of a better ranking in the Pinside Top 100. Too bad this machine was introduced w/ an incomplete code, but many titles have an initial down rating because of this. Don't let the current Pinside ranking sway your opinion, give it a try because SW's is a winner!

We've had SW's Premium in for several weeks now & it's fantastic! Anyhow, why does mystery always award the same "tie fighter" accomplish when initially triggering a mystery award? Is there a setting adjustment to activate the mystery hole as random?

The machine is set on Competition Mode & Player Competition. Would turning the mentioned off create a random award in the mystery hole? I haven't gone through the adjustments since acquiring SW's, but will need to do so soon.

Will do & hopefully this will solve the linear mystery awards. Although everything's fantastic w/ the exception of this minor repetition.

This weekend I will be donating my SW's Premium to school district that I work for. The first event will be a karaoke party for the high school. All the HS kids will have the opportunity to play SW"S while the karaoke party is going on. For the second event, I will be having a district wide pinball tournament for all teachers & staff. During the third event, SW's will be available in the auditorium lobby during our spring musical. Our spring musical is a big deal in our community & our school will be packed to capacity all next weekend long.

Tough I have everything planned & situated, my main concern is a newbie approaching this machine & not having a clue what's going on. As we all know SW's is very deep, as the rules can & will confuse even the most seasoned players.

What I need from you is a way to describe the process of the basic rules of the game. For example...
1. Coin Up
2. Press Start
3. Select Character
4. Select Mission
5. Hit Flashing Shots???
6. Use the Fire Button To...

With consideration to all the SW's efficianos on this topic post, what are your suggestions? I will be displaying this guideline alongside the machine.

Yes, I actually set the machine up easier so anyone can at least have a decent game. I did add ball savers to the scoop & ball launch, + I moved the out lane posts to the novice last notch. I will definitely turn the stacking option off for that makes everything run together w/ confusion. Thanks for the suggestions & I will create a separate topic w/ pictures when this event winds down. If there's any other recommendations, please feel free to offer any other suggestions.

I simply have my right back leg (facing the machine) up slightly higher to divert the ball to the left flipper. Just a turn higher & this should solve your problem. Don't want to go too far up on that back leg, for this will throw the whole playfield off & unleveled.
