Wouldn't it look awesome to light the Pro plastic ramps with fiber-optics, similar to Tron? It would look like LIFE-SIZE LIGHTSABERS on going up both side of the cabinet! Imagine flashing them during the saber duel modes!

Edit: Add some lightsaber handle plastics at the bottom of the ramps, and it would actually look like two lightsabers flanking the playfield.

Edit 2: Add VERY crude mockup...

OK, someone in my house (not me!) got the new 3-bank Extra Ball in the v0.93 code. Just like the release notes state, they just kept hitting the 3-bank until a Pinball image appeared. Hitting the pinball lit the Extra Ball insert. Not sure how many Ties it took, but they ended up with >100 Tie fighters by the end of the game. Multiplier was also pegged high throughout the whole game due to hitting the 3-bank so often. Not a bad strategy for a high-score!

Very true! I seem to be able to backhand the 3-bank and have it return to the right flipper with pretty good success though.

The Hoth right inner loop shot on the Pro is the most satisfying shot in the game to me. The ball whips around smooth and fast right back to the flipper and feels great every time. Not sure if this is different on the Premium/LE, but if it is, I would miss it.

Pro mod idea: Remove the lower door on the death star (similar to Prem/LE), and move the whole death star down to directly on top of the Death Star shot gate. This way it actually feels like you are hitting the death star on the Pro, instead of it just floating above/behind the shot. Will be a little tight next to the TIE fighter, but maybe not any tighter than the TIE / mini-LCD spacing. I think Stern would have designed it this way if they had only made a Pro model. The death star is located where it is because of the Prem/LE hyperdrive feature, and the location doesn't make much sense on the Pro. Crude photoshop attached!

Hmm, wondering if my Death Star shot is extra hard due to the Jedi Training Target next to it not being centered. It leans to the left and slightly covers up part of the shot opening. Is it easy to adjust this target back to center?

Update: Didn't stay put. Ordered the 1/2" Mezel splint covers and attempted to install, but the splint bracket has changed for Star Wars, so the Mezel covers didn't fit. Tried tightening the screws this time and will see if that helps.

Sorry, looks like the quote feature didn't pull in the whole post. This was in reference to the Jedi Training targets leaning off center. I purchased the Mezel target splits to try to hold them in place:

Unfortunately, it looks like Stern has redesigned the bracket so that these Mezel splits are no longer compatible.

On the plus side, tightening the screws has held up over a few games now, so maybe the splits aren't needed. In fact, the bracket may have been redesigned in attempt to mitigate this issue when tightened properly. We'll see.
