Yeah, this might be your issue. And make sure you are on the most recent code update if you haven't already.
Quoted from finnflash:Ok, i tried it with each character and no matter who I am I get this mystery award.
Are you in some kind of tournament mode (where mystery would be preset for fairness)?
I haven't seen Midnight Madness again since .91 code. I am not sure if its because it's been removed, or if its because I don't usually play the game that late at night... but for anybody who has not seen what the mode looks like, here's is a clip of it in action

I hadn’t seen that before. That looked so fun! Why on earth would they take that out?
Thanks for the midnight madness clip. I had never seen that. What an awesome addition. Needs to be back as midnight madness or some other mode/mystery award/ etc.
Only thing I can think of is that Disney didnt like it in there. Absolutely zero reason for Stern to pull it since it was already coded...
i just wanted to elaborate on why the premium is literally 2 times more fun. i had played the pro model for maybe 2 months before the premium came out. I LOVED the pro, literally. Then i actually got my preordered premium before i had ever played the premium or le.
then it hit me, WOW. i literally don't even like playing the pro anymore. call me a premium snob or whatever, but the hyperloop is one of sterns BEST toys in years i think. it isn't a bash toy, it isn't really 'interactive' but GOD DAMN it is the best. It adds a 3rd dimension to the playfield, and all you have to do is add balls to it with 1 shot once hyper space mb is started. Start a planet mb mode (whatever planet you like), then start tie fighter mb mode, then bring it all together with hyperspace hurryup mb! you have 3 mb modes going, yet you still have a timer for adding balls to the hyperdrive loop while still playing. As you add more balls, the spacing gets easier on the playfield for shots, and you can still continue to add balls in the hyperloop. Finally, when the timer is out the balls come back down, and you start full 6 ball multiball again(you should have it already with the planet mb and tie fighter mb stacked).
The hyperdrive loop was built for this game, and the pro was stripped down for sales. I truly believe this is one of the first pro models that is hurt by pulling features from the premium and le.
thanks for listening, who cats and dogs
Quoted from D-Gottlieb:Why would Disney care? Are they really gonna be micromanaging this from now on?
I think they have been micromanaging this all along. I’m curious how much better this machine would have been if they had to stay hands off. That said, Stern Has done a great job and the game is a blast! Unfortunately, Stern has taken a lot of crap for the short falls, which I think was Disney meddling in the background (people love to be in charge, even if they have no idea how it works...ie Disney vs pinball creation/implementation). I fear the topper was suppose to be a cool R2D2 with a projector (see early code), but Disney has squashed the ideas so much that we will never see more than a cardboard cutout.
Oh yeah ! I’ve got a Premium

Nice one! It's possibly already May the 5th where you're at, but I hope you play the hell out of it this weekend regardless. See how many games you can rack up before you have to go to work on Monday!
Loading balls into the hyperdrive for Hyperspace Multiball is one of the biggest rushes in Pinball. The Hyperdrive is worth it just for that.
Quoted from TKDalumni:I get the same rush from HS2..serious.
I agree. I had all the balls in HS2 loop and it was awesome. My supercharger was FAST. SW is a more difficult shot up to the loop and the side to side ball movement eating up time puts more pressure on you to have a good go at it.
I Like hitting upper loops on my IMDN like HS2 also.
And I have an SW LE, but pro plays great also. Lots of fun. SW is great.

Rob
Quoted from Crile1:So this is what it is like to hope to get code and be dissapointed... huh.
Seriously. Sorry for getting people hopes up.

That looks amazing and might I say I Love that Pump! Fricken cool! Congrats on a kick ass game you will love it! My wife wasn’t sure if she would like it not being a SW buff but has soon come over to the dark side and favors it more than most of our titles.
Hey guys, I am having a polished metal laser engraved instruction card made to match the signature plate of the LE version and am looking for people to join in in order to reach the minimum batch size of 20. I made an ad for this here:

It’s only my cost I am asking for. No commercial intent.
Quoted from Schwaggs:A friend and I were playing SW over and over on May the Fourth and he had an interesting observation. The end of ball callouts that Yoda says are always negative.
It would be nice to have some that are positive. Especially when you have a good ball.</blockquotNo way dude, that’s the point. Yoda talking smack because you lost the ball !!!
Quoted from Schwaggs:The end of ball callouts that Yoda says are always negative.
Those must have been coded by pinsiders...
Please, dear code update people, allow Light Saber duel to end with the ball drain. I came so close to smashing my machine last night when the ball drained with 1 second on the clock...then the number 30 appeared. CURSE YOU, LIGHT SABER DUEL!
Quoted from flashburn:Has anyone made any custom cards yet? I searched a bit but didn't find anything.
I posted some I made. Post #2294.

Have you seen the post from sprudeldudel?

Yes! More end of ball callouts / video are needed in the game and from other characters then just Yoda. Why not have one of Vader saying "Impressive, most impressive" for a good ball? The Emperor saying "Goooood" would be another. Reach a planet multiball and have ObiWan say "You've just taken your first step into a larger world". Stuff like that.
I would also like to see some end of ball clips that are of Jabba and / or Salacious Crumb laughing if you have a rather short ball, lol. Bring some of the subtle comedy from the films into the game.
I'm happy with all of the modes in the game and would just like to see more film video / audio added to the game at this point.
Quoted from francky93:Just a change, i have turn the side to expulse the air from the power supply, like this the origin fan stay « off »
Check out this lovely 3d printed part off ebay in combination with a 6cm fan I had this designed together with the seller especially for this mod. A much cleaner solution to my opinion. He will ship globally.
Quoted from francky93:Ouah cool, but it is 40 to 60mm, my fan is 80mm
The guy will mak whatever you ask him to. Just talk to him. He'll send you a drawing within a day and you'Re good to go. I decided against 80mm fan because it throws a shadow on the translite. The 60mm is just small enough to not have that problem.
