I still have these available for shipping. Message me for details. Will ship USA and international.

Stern Star Wars fire button front molding lockbar plate.

High-quality brushed stainless 16 gauge laser cut with clear imagery and words for the player to understand what the button is used for. Easy to install with the clear 3M adhesive tape. Once installed it's not going anywhere with the high quality and highly sticky 3M product.

Inspired by other Steve Ritchie designed games that also have laser cut fire button plates in the tradition of AC/DC, Star Trek and Game of Thrones.

PM me for details.

It's not just the sound, the green X's will begin to flash as well......but yeah, the sound is easier to pick up than the flashing.....

nice yeah good to know that too.

I would like to update the Star Wars Code 1.0 like this pinsider did.

https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/starwars-pro-sound-replacement-v-089

Has anybuddy sucsessfully did this to their Star Wars Premium Pin running 1.0 code? If so could you share the steps to accomplish this?

Just found out via tiltforums that if you don't use your add-a-ball, you can use it in your next multiball. Never would have guessed! Yet another way to try to make those harder multiballs easier to finish. Jumped on mine as soon as I got home and confirmed, not only can you hold an add-a-ball between multiballs, you can even stack them. While I still had one left over from Death Star, I hit the force bank repeatedly during Endor. Drained my ball, used add-a-ball once, and it was still lit for another use which I managed to save until well into Victory MB

I've made some further progress on my Tatooine mod. I decided to go with a rendition of Jabba's Palace. I'm still tweaking the looks to be more, uh, "Tatooiney", but things are looking good. This prototype is tied into the Tatooine flasher.

Ugh...just by raising the playfield I knocked the rj45 connector off of the node 11 board on the back of the playfield on my Premium. I believe it is part number 520-6998-72.

Any thoughts on fixing this? Don’t even see this part number out there.

Ugh. I would call Stern; that’s not supposed to just break off like that.

#3159 6 years ago

On the positive side the Stargate PinBlades look pretty cool on it.

Ha, unfortunately not. That is when I found out the rj45 broke off. Won’t get past the error screen so the GI never comes on.

That's not cool at all.....it definitely shouldn't have happened. I would be contacting Stern as my first option and saying exactly what happened and the damage done.

Finally made my decision on which blades to install. Looks good with the side armor.

Ok have to ask as a native cheap bastard. Since you picked a set and I assume bought the Stern bulk set of 6 would you sell the other 2 sets to recoup some of your cash? I would do equal shares if you would be interested? Just hate to buy 3 sets and toss the extras. Let me know if your interested or PM. Thanks.

#3171 6 years ago

What type of mirror blades are people using? I’m getting a premium soon and joining the club!

#3172 6 years ago

Where are the decorative blades available? They are sold out. Also, can one buy an oem plastics set? For a Premium.

#3173 6 years ago

Due to several inquiries requesting a view of our Custom 3D speaker illumination kits with the white inserts installed I thought I would share the comparison for anyone interested. Kit includes a new set of precision cut black foam inserts as well as a pair of white blanks should you opt for the highlighted look. Looks awesome with the white pinstrip cabinets! Complete speaker kits are now available and shipping Monday. Sorry for the delay. $114 PM for order or check them or our other Star Wars Custom products via the Pinside Market place store! Thanks

Where are these available? Haven't seen them available to buy.

My local distributor had them in stock. Gameroom Guys in Michigan. Not sure yet if I’m going to sell the other 2 sets, but here is what they look like. Also don’t like that Stern didn’t do the smooth Lock down bar to match the side armor.

Your lockdown bar is different than your side armor??

So they sell you 6 blades? Is there a way to swap them out, or is is permanent adhesive?

Those look nicely made, however they do not compliment the existing playfield in any way except that it is Star Wars themed. After 6+ months of waiting for Stern to release these....disappointing. Glad I didn't wait and got mirror blades instead.

#3180 6 years ago

Yes the side armor was just the 2 sides so different feel than the existing lock down.

The blades are the usual stickers so they could be removed, but doubt you could restick after removing a set.

#3181 6 years ago

I will probably go with mirrors. But I do want to get a set of spare plastics.

Totally understand but do know my offer stands unless someone wants to divid up a set. To pay $150 and throw away $100 worth of them seemed wasteful to me. Why Stern did it this way is beyond me. If you change your mind I like the top set you have shown....

Yes it’s very strange. Basically every buyer is going to turn into a mini distributor by selling the two sets they don’t use.

Quoted from D-Gottlieb:

I ordered a full set of playfield plastics and decals direct from STERN in 2013 for my NIB Avengers LE . I did have to buy the entire playfield plastic set however. STERN has gotten tougher with going through a distributor . So find out were your machine was purchased if you do not know use SS# . Have distributor order the plastic set .

The traces are lifted so that is definitely not an easy repair. Contact your distributor for warranty since I assume the RJ45 cable was caught somehow curing assembly.

Last I checked they are $150 per set but only sold as a set of (6) so basically 3 sets for a game that needs one?

Are there any news when we will see the official R2D2 Topper?

Nope. No news yet. Everytime Stern is asked on facebook they just say they are working on Star Wars accessories.

Bought a light up color changing Death Star on Amazon, might make into a temporary topper until Stern releases theirs? They also have other styles like R2-D2, etc.

Not usually a big fan of lots of mods but I thought give this one a try. It's pretty darn cool. Really fits the theme well imho. You can tell this was 3D Printed with quality artwork. Can't stand the chintzy stuff. Feels like it's part of the machine.
Take a look. It's by the mod couple.
There's even a needle sized hole placed in the front where it feels like a green laser coming out the front. It's kick ass.

Is CoinTaker the best place for mirror blades right now? Going to put them in SW Prem with Pin Stadium.

#3196 6 years ago
Quoted from stpcore:

Yes. They bought Pinball Side Mirrors.

#3197 6 years ago

Not a fan of mixing ships and action figures that are of a completely different scale, but I have liked the addition of a Star Destroyer on most all of the games I have seen. Everyone has their own preferences. I have enjoyed seeing pics of the mods and seeing ideas with each that I may want to mimic.

#3198 6 years ago

Why is Stern so weird with the accessories for this? They said right away the Millennium Falcon will be available for the pro, now the top secret release of the side blades and armor, and who knows when the topper and shooter rod will be revealed.

#3199 6 years ago

Are there any links to the blades for sale anywhere?

#3200 6 years ago
Quoted from kermit24:

Yes. They bought Pinball Side Mirrors.

The pinball side mirrors website now says, "a division of cointaker" and their blades are $10 cheaper than the ones on the cointaker site. So is there a difference from buying from one site or the other?

Edit: I got my answer from the source (Melissa) and was told to order from pinballsidemirrors.com.
