Anyone decorate the playfield with their vintage Star Wars action figures yet?
Quoted from T-800:I use that time to make sure my shot multiplier is where I want it.
Same here. I know there are awesome players but wow if you don't like that break.
Sorry if covered already...what's midnight madness? It's a high score and I noticed it in the service menu (mines off).
Quoted from Mando:Anyone ever get SDTM with a super hard shot to the horshoe Death Star side exiting the right side ?
Yup. Not every time, so I just figure part of pinball. This game is so fast, that I'm not allowed to play it around children (to many expletives)

Yea it’s kicking my butt !! Gonna close the outlanes it’s hard enough

I did the left...but gonna do the right tomorrow. Sometimes it drains so bad I quit for awhile, other times I can play an long game...the randomness is why I love pinball. My best is almost 700 million...I'm not a freak player that get 1-2+ billion a game...but it's a blast!
Quoted from dnapac:I'm not a freak player that get 1-2+ billion a game...but it's a blast!
Once you get used to the multipliers and the hyperspace hurry ups, you should be able to get this in one shot.
Working on the multipliers...getting much better at that. Still suck at persistently getting hyperspace hurry-up. I'm really digging this pin, and the update codes will only make it better.
Quoted from Mando:Anyone ever get SDTM with a super hard shot to the horshoe Death Star side exiting the right side ?
Side to side leveling fixed that problem for me.

Ok cool just leveled it but I'll check it better tomorrow did it glass on
Trying to figure out if my game is broke or what
When I light Hyperspace Hurryup and hit the ramp. The ball goes around ramp 4 times and nothing else happens. I lit the 4 inlanes and still nothing happens. Why is this not triggering the multiball. Am I doing something wrong. Or is my game neec a visit from service tech?
I have only seen 1 actual true hyperspace multiball ever happen. Im not even sure if it was one.
Totally confused. Anyone know of a demo of how this is suppose to function?

I think you may need to hit them twice then you get to shoot the shot again to start the multi ball.
You have to trIgger inlanes twice. Or hit hyperspace hurryup twice?
Gah that shot is a pain. Backhand of left flipper sometimes works. Right flipper makes it tightest / toughest shotbin pinball.

Collect two hyperspace hurry ups to start multiball.

Holy crap!! Really thers got to be an easier setting for kids.

One of the plunge skill shots lights one of them off the bat, but yeah, there's no gimmie multiballs in this game.
Go into adjustments and check the feature adjustments. You might be able to reduce Hyperspace multiball to require only one hurry up.
If you bought this game for kids hoping it would be easy, this is definitely going to disappoint. This is not an easy game at all.

It's a bug that happens because you missed getting the hurry up while it was still lit. The next update will fix that.
You get hyperspace multiball from your second hurry up. I don't know how many lane completions are are needed to light the hurry up, but it's certainly more than 1.

Pls keep notice:
Got my Premium, and after reading the technical reviews over the last month, I was nervous for all that could have been as issue...but, so far so good! Man, this game is fast.
Only thing I noticed consistently is the scoop issue. Soon as it went in, I knew it was a goner. SDTM. Some good posts on correcting the issue and i appreciate everyone's advice and expertise on all things pinball. For me, I didn't feel as comfortable to torque the scoop, so took the advice to turn the left eject to 30, which still put it STDM on the majority. So, at least for my machine, I turned it down to 25. Now, on eject it hits the right flipper 100% of the time, is catchable, and I can keep playing. It's still fast enough to need some attention, but not automatically draining is great.
This is a really fun game and I'm glad I got it. It is really cool and its going to take me quite a while to get good at it. To be truthful though, I may kill Yoda...some games go by so fast that that Stern may have to add some different ending phrases that dont bind our minds so bad....id hate to lose it and try and strangle that little guy through the LCD screen )

Our kid's actually love this game because of theme. They are happy with Tie Fighter skill shot and pretty much go nuts trying to hit it.
My wife complains hyperspace shot is just plain impossible.
I can hit the shot 80% of the time but was starting to wonder if there was a bug on my machine. I will have to open glass test this tonight.

" this is not the post I was looking for" ?
Its my game, I will drill posts wherever I want . I dont expect stern to say , crap, we forgot 800 posts..
And Steve says "do'nt", but not "why"
Anyway, great game, tough as nails, still love it.

You can absolutely do whatever you want on your game. But at least Steve answered the question of whether or not this was intentional.

True. Though it's still not clear what's different b/w the Pro and LE that makes that post necessary for one but not the other.
my premium is now in south dakota. For anybody that visits Laramie Wy, (i know, non of you) it will be at 8 bytes game cafe downtown.

Yes indeed, true.
But.. devils advocate.. Lets say it was un-intentional, per Steve, would that be an acceptable answer for stern?
Like others, I am interested in the why, not on LE, yes on pro, I just dont get it .?

I agree that it would be very interesting to understand why.

Since mystery scoops dont usually pay off much in most games, I think it would give the game some extra
personality if they randomly play Ackbar clip "it's a trap" and award nothing at all.
Quoted from dnapac:Sorry if covered already...what's midnight madness? It's a high score and I noticed it in the service menu (mines off).
Midnight Madness is usually a switch scoring ("frenzy") MB that activates at Midnight. Bunch of W/B 90s games have them.
Quoted from Vino:Since mystery scoops dont usually pay off much in most games, I think it would give the game some extra

Hehe....I like this!!!!
Yeah, that mystery trap would be great .
I just realised that I will never do well on this game.. someone pointed out to me why I wasnt shooting for the yellow arrows, and I said, where?
He showed them, I thought they were all greens.
Same with shooting the purple shots.. purple? I keep chasing the pink combo arrows too, cant see them either...
Colour blindness at its best. The rgb pastel tint combinations are so alike its confusing. Blue orange and red stand out fine.
Anyone else experience this? I dont have it on my gotLE, those arrows colours are much more defined
Quoted from steigerpijp:Yeah, that mystery trap would be great .

I'm not color blind. No issues here.

i have a hard time seeing the difference between the combo shots and the purple mission shots. Everything else is fine for me.
Find and play the star wars machines at Belgian Open Pinball 2017 and the surrounding pubs for some 'special' stern star wars action.
Can't say more but you'll find out once you see it
I know I've asked this already a while ago, but nevertheless: Any news yet on the accessories?
- headphone jack
- topper
Quoted from dnapac:Tournament button installed! Very easy. 4 connectors, no soldering.
What exactly does it do? Never used one
And where to buy them ?
Quoted from Mando:What exactly does it do? Never used one

It slightly changes the gameplay to make it more even, player to player. You can specify the type of tournament in the service menu. My wife and I usually do 2 week tournaments with high score being the winner (a small pot of money...like $20). The game will keep track of the tournament stats until it's finished. If you just want to play a normal game you just hit the "start" button. Tournament games usually don't go towards the high score, etc...so if you have an amazing game in tournament, it won't be stored permanently. Just a little added fun and competition. If you have the family/friends over, it can keep track of who is doing best over the others, without affecting the permanent scores. I got mine at Pinball Life. The buttons are really cheap, but shipping is more than the button, so order it with some other stuff you need. For SW, all you need is the button, not the button and harness/wires. There are four connectors ready to go on the inside of the cab, by the left side. Just plug them in to the correct places and you're set.
Two quick questions:
Where in the heck can I find the manufacture date? And, what are the two rubber plugs on the front side of the backbox at the top?
Quoted from pudealee:Two quick questions:

Lower back of your cab should have manufacture date. I think the rubber plugs you are referring to are just bumpers/cushions when you put the backbox down.

The plugs/bumpers also protect the playfield and backbox when the playfield is raised all the way up for service.
Quoted from Zenomorp:All set up and ready for enjoyment. Super stoked.
Same manufacture date as mine!
