No it's not your apple unless you're using an iPad. iPad's do not support flash, but word is the new one coming for Christmas will. My iMac plays it fine. If you're using an iMac or MacBook and it's not playing you need to simply update your software. Go up to the apple icon in the upper left side of the screen. Click it. Then click on "Software Updates". Update everything. Mac's run better when all software is running current codes.
