Have you tried reseating the connectors involved with the trough? I had issues with one of them on my LE ... I put a dab of hot melt glue to keep it in place. You can probably do the same thing with a zip tie, but I was fixing some connections on my Rick and Morty ... I already had the glue gun warmed up.

Also, my STLE had a LOT of poor wire to IDC connections. It's like the person assembling the harness didn't have much experience pushing wires into an IDC connector. It is best to fix those with an IDC tool (they're typically around $10 from a bunch of different places).

I'd go on a rant about the piss poor job they did with the powder coating too, but that's a rant for another time .
