As you'll see in the thread that tktlwyr mentioned, this is PERFECTLY NORMAL. You're noticing it b/c it's a new game. All games have dimples, there's just so many of them that you don't notice them!
When I got my first NIB 3 years ago, I freaked b/c I was a newb and there was dimpling. Now I go back to the game, there's so many dimples that the thing looks smooth and you don't notice them.
Just play the game and enjoy it
