My Premium is hopefully coming tomorrow, thanks for bumping this, missed it the first time.

Quoted from gweempose:For those of you that have upgraded to these, did you replace every single black mini-post rubber with one? What colors did you use?
SR made it sound like he would have used them everywhere:
I don't recommend the use of post sleeves on the mini posts in place of the rubber donuts. Sleeves have too little rebound for my tastes, and they don't belong on ST. "Says who?" Says The King! You can use sleeves, but I will laugh and jeer like the Black Knight when I see your game.
There are some great new urethane post, mini post and flipper rubbers (Super Bands) available from Marco that are super durable and provide great rebound. They are manufactured by C.U.E. led by Joe Scalleta, and come in a full range of colors and styles. I wish I knew about them and not sure they were even available before ST production; I would have specified them on all models. They show no wear at all after hundreds of fun plays in my testing.
Quoted from nosro:Clear Super Posts work perfectly with the brightly lit clear ramps.
Those look great. I'll have to count up my posts when I get my machine and put in an order.
Putting this in here in case it saves anyone else a phone call to Chas: If your laser doesn't work there's a clamp around it that keeps the button depressed (off the shelf laser pointer for the win). The clamp can slip during shipping, in my case it was almost entirely off, and then I figure the motor vibration of the lens knocked it off, because it worked for 5 seconds before quitting. Just squeeze and shift the clamp to be over the button again. Boom, disco show back.
Quoted from Disloid:Ok I figured it out. Here's what was happening for anyone else who might experience this.
It sure seems like there's a flakey batch of opto boards on these, that sounds like the same fix people have been trying for the Vengeance opto.
Anyone have the thread handy where someone did a nice job making the insignia insert up at the top of the warp ramp light up more evenly?
Quoted from ectobar:Here you go:
Perfect, that's the one thanks.
Quoted from PunishersLEMC:Anyone else seem to think the pops could be more lively?? If so what have you done. sometimes very active other times seems to not have much life
Definitely not a problem on my Prem, sometimes I wish they were slightly less lively, the ball can rocket back and forth in there for quite a while.
FWIW all my drop target issues vanished when I flipped the screw backwards on the spring side. It doesn't "hold", but the other side does and it goes through the hole still, to keep it stable. The head of the screw was really messing with the target.
