Having weird issues after upgrading to v1.4, including flippers and coils be de-energized during a game, losing progress on modes, and multiball ending prematurely.
Anybody else?
Going to roll back to v1.3.

Sounds like the optic switch in the through is flacky. Unplug and replug it fixed my tron - common problem on sterns. Regardless very likely to be hardware not software problems.

Not a software issue. As stated above, sounds like trough switch issue.
Reseated all switch connectors. I could see premature end of ball causes by trough issues, but losing mode progress? That rolls over from ball to ball.
Quoted from SteveP3:Could the coin door switch be flaky? I've never played a ST so this is a shot in the dark.
Cool suggestion But I don't think that would explain multiball ending prematurely like the game thinking one of the balls was back in the trough.
