Having weird issues after upgrading to v1.4, including flippers and coils be de-energized during a game, losing progress on modes, and multiball ending prematurely.

Anybody else?

Going to roll back to v1.3.

Anyone out there hosting 1.3?

Been fine for me; when did you upgrade?

Sounds like the optic switch in the through is flacky. Unplug and replug it fixed my tron - common problem on sterns. Regardless very likely to be hardware not software problems.

Not a software issue. As stated above, sounds like trough switch issue.

Reseated all switch connectors. I could see premature end of ball causes by trough issues, but losing mode progress? That rolls over from ball to ball.

Funny things happen when switches malfunction. I am still arguing it is not a software problem.

Could the coin door switch be flaky? I've never played a ST so this is a shot in the dark.

Cool suggestion But I don't think that would explain multiball ending prematurely like the game thinking one of the balls was back in the trough.

Hmm yeah good point. I just got out of bed 5 mins ago so the logic machine isn't firing on all cylinders quite yet
