Oh, my. Well, I figured I'd try to salvage the dog's dinner. Turned out the right nacelle just had a bad LED - the others were fine, but in that one, the actual junction had cooked.
So I stole an LED from another source (don't ask), tore the back end apart, and soldered in this one. Wired in Tim's awesome rectifier kit, and at least it works. Eventually I'll replace both nacelle LEDs with same-colored diodes, but this is good enough for now. Or at least until I can source those tiny-ass LEDs...
Is there a source for those cool little spring-wire stands I've seen in other posts?

They generally are a PITA. I actually had a nice setup going with a rectifier so I could hook it up anywhere. I still have some rectifiers left if they want to mod their own.
And the price to purchase them got ridiculous.
