Hello,

Today I found a #star_trek in which no dedicated switches work (flipper buttons or the service buttons on the door). I tried looking for a cause but could not find any. Any thoughts about that?

Need more detail than that.

1. Do all the fuses test good? Use a multimeter to test, not visual.
2. How do the connectors look in the backbox?

Fuses are ok, the connectors look normal, no loose connections, reseated them anyway.

I just checked with changing the switch of the left flipper and everything was working for a while (I was suspecting the varistor). I managed to get into switch test thanks to that but everything got bad again after clicking the switches a few times.

Now in test i can see that the e.o.s. switches work good, fire button works
Not working: tilt, service buttons, flipper buttons.

EDIT: Weird thing i found out, when I touch the switch of the flipper button it normally does not work, but if I push it against grounded part that holds the lockdown bar, it does work and even the service buttons work, but only when holding the switch at the grounded part.

Seems like the ground wires are bad somewhere?
