And you can bet your ass that Stern will increase prices again. I just don't see any type of creativity or custom things being done.

Anybody have any information on ship dates? Still on the fence. Premium seems like the way to go. That means I'll get to see how the Pro does, then the LE (all 800 units), then finally the premium will be out.. a few months past the inital pro delivery, so lots of time to decide.

I really don't see why anyone would make a big deal about the machines being sold out at Stern? Doesn't mean a thing as they don't sell to the end consumer, only means the Dealers are now taking the risk. There are PLENTY of these LE's out there to be had to anyone interested... but you can count on not getting the deals you are used unless you are an established customer with someone who is willing to give you it.

This is true. While I am in the market for a premium, I don't expect to be blown away.. just look at Stern's history. Transforming toy? Animated cross and snake (just goes up and down with a simple coil). Dancing band? Does anyone even see/notice the TNT detonator going up and down?

Not bashing, but just looking at what's been delivered to us in the past, hype then under-deliver on the toys and how they are engineered.

Would you rather see the glare of the glass and not see what's going on on the playfield? That's more important to me than hearing the sound louder IMO.
