Looks pretty cool! Layout looks fun. I really don't like the LE art though

Lol, 8k and two toys are rocks.

I see spider-man anyone else?

#17 9 years ago

nice...

#18 9 years ago

Play first and premium for me.

#19 9 years ago

May be premature disappointment but it looks like a remake of the 25th.
Edit: I meant STTNG

#20 9 years ago

Get ready!

Saw the same but it looks like they may spin as I saw something on the back of one of the rocks. Look at 0:24 of the video.

#22 9 years ago

NICE!!!!!!! In for more details!!!!

#23 9 years ago

I sure hope it plays well because it's ugly as sin. I concede the enterprise toy but the rest... Let's battle!

#24 9 years ago

Umm. Why did someone hoax us and re badge an AFM?

#25 9 years ago

what's with that back box?

#26 9 years ago

Hmmm... Need better pictures to make better judgement.

Quick thoughts:

Is the back playfield a bunch of clear plastic with a big old round spaceship in the middle?
Playfield art does not initially impress

Ahhh, spinning rocks. Well now. : )

Looks like a nice flow game as expected though so maybe some more game footage and less Movie clips and we can understand whats going on. Stern I love you but stop with giant objects in the middle of the game. Hopefully the pro won't have the giant ship.

I figured this would have been up already but the video post on facebook was 7 seconds old so I thought, hey why not.

I'm pausing all over the place trying to grab screens of the PF

I couldn't disagree more. Looks fantastic all the way around.

#30 9 years ago

Looks just like STTNG but without the extras (canons, subway, VUK, wireform for picard maneuver). Glad I have a STTNG because this seems like the nerfed version

#31 9 years ago

I never thought the final frontier was so red & purple. Feel bad I sold my preorder of the youtube video of this.

#32 9 years ago

Which one has the blue DMD?

Was expecting a wow feature but not seeing it yet.....

I think that's a flasher. Looks like a decent layout though there is no way could you put this next to a STTNG -- the layouts are far more similar than I expected.

Can't believe no one has pulled a screen grab of the PF and rule card yet. C'MON PEOPLE!

#34 9 years ago

Seems like Spider-Man with a changed up center. This could be really great if the code is strong.

#35 9 years ago

I like the artwork at first glance, on the playfield at least. It's much more 'cosmic' than I was expecting. Not all dark and moody.

Believe me I think it is crap too. Just wanted to point out there may be something else there. Why is the enterprise on the shooter lane and the Federation War ship the focus of the PF? The enterprise should have been the focus. Guess it may be like AFM. Destroy the ship.

#37 9 years ago

actually looks like the ship moves not the rocks, but I could be wrong.

#38 9 years ago

Similar backbox footprint to Avengers LE, appears more slimline at top
DMD cover is ugly
Spidey sense lane returns to shooter lane
Left lock lane has some sort of moveable scoop
Some HARSH standups!
Magnet behind drop target
Enterprise is mounted on a black box, and ramp goes behind backboard and appears to connect up to it so something going on under there - transporter???
Beta Quadrant almost same as TNG
6 missions & 18 mini missions - lots of code to do then!!
FIRE Button!!!
Like the EE art, not sure on the others

#39 9 years ago

The sparkle spinner is back

Anyone get a feature list yet?

#40 9 years ago
Quoted from maddog14:

Ummm yeah cause AFM has a third flipper on the right, side shot ramps and standups, and a VUK shot on the left.

I'm not convinced it's as original as Avengers in layout, but it's not an AFM clone.

#41 9 years ago

Spidey / ST:TNG combined with a touch of AFM. Depends on the code....

#42 9 years ago

It's AC/DC, SM and STTNG munged together.

Agree.

EE art is the one to have - not keen on others.

O yay! STTNG with a WOZ price tag!

#45 9 years ago

Looks cool at first glance. Can't wait to play one.

#46 9 years ago

Ugh... A fire button on the lockdown bar again. Rehash of ACDC. Come on man. pfft.

#47 9 years ago

no LCD??? I heard for sure on that wow. Like, for sure for sure.

Does look like a rehash of STTNG for sure, but given the missions, could be good. First one I am half excited about in a while, and I can't stand star trek.

Has the big toy Enterprise which STTNG always lacked.

#48 9 years ago

I also think there is going to be a reveal re apron as those cards look like they are hiding something - maybe.....

I was thinking the other day I bet Ritchie will do a narrow body version of STTNG.... looks pretty close.

But very cool!
