Hello everyone. I've had my Split Second for about 5 years now. It's always played the time I've had it. But just recently I've been able to give it some love that it deserves and rebuild the rectifier board and a few other things. I noticed that one of the previous owners changed the flipper mechs to complete Gottlieb System 80 mechs! I wanted to change it back to original Stern flipper parts. I actually had enough spares from a lot of used parts I bought before so I figured no problem. What I didn't realize is that the wiring was a mess to the flippers. I can't seem to find any good pictures online and would like to ask for a fellow Split Second owner for some help. Would it be possible to show a couple of good pictures of how to wire up the coils and EOS's (what colors go where etc.). I have an idea but would like to make sure. Here is what I'm up against.

I did end up getting it original and correct and they’re good now. However I would love to see a picture of the setup that you did with the single EOS

Quoted from stlscott:

Did you ever get the wiring correct on you Split Second? I have one and just did a complete flipper rebuild and re-wire and now i have strong, powerful flippers with all new parts. Let me know if you need some pictures of how i wired it. The original wiring was VERY strange (to me). It had a double-switch for the EOS, one switch ENGAGED power and one switch disengaged power, it was really strange. I re-wired to to match modern setups with the single EOS and it's all good now.
