Quoted from robotgreg:

Hi
I have a problem on a Kiss pro.
Was playing it and the ball got stuck in the scoop and failed to eject. All playfield lights went out and I had to switch off and on again to restart the game.
But when I did this it came up with a message saying Update node board runtime with 3 boxes numbered, 1, 3, 8. This update failed. I then went into the diagnostics menu to try to test the node boards but each one said not initialized.
So now the machine will show the screen fine in attract mode but no power otherwise and nothing lit on the playfield and can't start a game.
The 2nd led on the cpu pcb (top left) in the backbox is off. This I believe is the 9v node bus communication power supply so wondering if a fuse has gone.
I can't see any fuses in the backbox and although referred to in the manual, I can't see that it says where they are actually are in the game? Can see a few small ones on the nodes boards but which one would be the fuse for the 9v node bus power?
Thanks for any advice.
Cheers
Greg

Unfortunately, It looks like I'm having the same problem with my KISS LE. Does anyone know what the outcome was with this problem? Thanks!

Was able to diagnose with Stern tech help. Bad node board, being sent out a replacement, no biggie. Thanks!
