Does anyone know what to do with them when they do get released?
Just kidding. I’m sure someone does, but it sure as hell isn’t me.

Quoted from Wolfmarsh:If you want to send the dead board to me after you get a new one, I'm still searching for a blown one i can write up repair instructions for.
You know there is going to be a parade in your honor if you've figured out how to fix these things.
Quoted from megadeth2600:Most networking equipment designed to "5 9s" (that's nerd speak for 99.99999% reliability) are designed to be powered by a 48V source (keep in mind I am talking about the big ass telecom switches/routers, not the stuff you have on your desktop ). .
You have too many 9’s. It should be 99.999% if you’re referring to 5 9’s.
Interesting discussion though.
So what happens when these things start failing and either components or replacements are no longer available? Are we all going to be left with a bunch of bricked machines?
Quoted from schudel5:Yes. Unless they can be easily diagnosed and repaired or someone reverse engineers every single node board. It's already tough to get some node boards right now.
