Did you check the gaps on the leaf switches? Most likely, they are gapped too closely.

You could stick a credit card between the contacts and see if it stops flipping.
There are two leaf switches under the sling plastic, almost certainly one or both of them are gapped incorrectly. It could be at the flipper button too, like you said, but I’d bet it’s the sling leaf switches.
Edit: ignore my post, it's not relevant to this issue.

Yeah, you are right, I wasn't thinking clearly...it's most likely coming from leaf switch at the flipper button. Apologies, one of those days of too much going on.
