    Hey guys.
Quick question, a friend of mine has a GB LE on location. He managed to mechanically break the coil of the right subway scoop by accident. The coil has the following specs 090-5036-ND, 24-940, 572 Ohms. Unfortunately this coil is currently unavailable in Germany. He did order it, but it will take 2-3weeks to arrive. So can this coil be temporary replaced with a WMS 23-800 or 26-1200? If yes wich is the best. I never understood wich is stronger or weaker.
Or will the game shut it self down due to fail save. I know spike sometimes freaks out for little things.

You'd have to make sure it physically will fit (diameter and length) and add or remove diodes as necessary. Also, you want to make sure the resistance are close within a few ohms. You'll have to find a chart for all the coils that tell you the resistance.

The Stern coil is 24-940 which is 940 wraps of 24 gauge wire. The Williams coils 23 -800 means 800 wraps of 23 gauge wire and 26-1200 means 1200 wraps of 26 gauge wire. The Stern coil will be right in between. If you put the -800 in or the -1200 in you will need to go into the coil settings and dial up or down the power settings for that coil if there is a setting. If there aren't adjustable settings, it'll probably be best to go with the -1200 coil. Install and see if has enough oomph to clear the ball.
