Hi all, I'm trying to tap 12V power off of connector CN9... Is there a control in the menu to turn the power for the dollar bill acceptor? Or is the power being supplied to that connector whether there's a dollar bill acceptor installed or not?

    Quoted from Lermods:

How did you tap off the connector? There are 6 pins, three of which are used to control the dba, one is 12v, another ground. If you just tapped power and ground, that won’t work.

Ahhh... I see. I tried to set up the following, based on this post:

Being unable to find those 0.100" Z-connectors referenced in the thread, I figured I'd try to tap into the lines indicated using T-tap connectors, setting up the circuit as indicated... (Or at least I tried to.)

Turned on the machine, and sadly, nothing from the LED strip. Ruled out the connector and the strip itself as being the problems, and it's acting like there's no power coming in... My first thoughts were 1) I screwed up somewhere, 2) I'm not using the RGB amplifier correctly, 3) the power tap was incomplete or 4) I need to turn power on to that circuit somehow...

... So tapping right into power and ground... That was a bad approach?

    Quoted from Lermods:

Sorry, I’m confused. Are you trying to run a dba or power a light strip?

I'm trying to power a light strip using the 12V from the dba circuit (CN9 connector)...

    (Sorry for the confusion!)

Sorry, I'm going to try a different approach and avoid the dba connector altogether; thanks all!
