    Magic Muppets?

based on the multi-sided dice im going to guess D&D but im sure that is wrong. What is interesting is the lightning bolt ont he flippers, will it have something close to lightning flippers?

    #6 10 years ago

Looks like D&D to me. That would actually be a cool theme.

    #7 10 years ago

Obviously some dungeons and dragons reference. looks like screen printed artwork, but i dont think its a game hint.

Kinda cool, would buy if the rest looked good.

That die is used in D&D.

Dude, its artwork from Donny he did in December, not a pin.

It looks like an art print to me. I dont think i'd take a dive to say its a game hint, stern likes to post anything that pinball related lately.

    #11 10 years ago

That's just a poster Dirty Donny did, nothing to do with any pin.

What is the point of posting that on FB? Lol

It's pinball themed art from an artist who did a popular (and in production) pin for Stern, that features Stern's name on it? Why wouldn't they post that? That's exactly the kind of thing Facebook is good for.

They aren't going to announce a new pin or feature every day.

Its to promote their Stern Store tab on their website, they mentioned this a few days ago. Another way to add some profit off the junk they know we pinheads buy.

You know, kinda like Hank Hill, he sells propane and propane accessories... Stern sells pinball and pinball accessories...

Agreed! Thanks for clarifying what it was, they were quite mysterious. It worked. It got a post here with a few replies lol. It's better than the typical posts in my feed about some food someone just microwaved and neatly organized it on a plate so they are now a chef....

A few days before they posted Stern shop coming soon. It's just a product for the store not a game

Could be a hint that they will be working with DD again.

Most likely. they posted this pick of Gary with Donny earlier in the month.

Edit: This was the pictures caption: "Gary and Dirty Donny brewing up some plans!"

Baring price, this print might look real nice in a frame on the wall of my game room.

    #20 10 years ago

They need to sell cool merchandise and memorabilia for game rooms. I can think of a ton of ideas. Clocks, coasters, posters, banners, neons, tapestries, floor mats, bar stools, just to name a few.

I don't like D&D, but I have my games on location at a local boardgame superstore kind of place and they sell a lot of D&D there. So, I would be all about getting one and putting it in there

I know that will never happen though.

http://www.ipdb.org/machine.cgi?id=743 - There is a D&D pinball already, just fairly old and may not do well ona route, but still exists!

Stern is going to start to sell MODS for there own games now.

And well they should. There is a huge market at this point. Who would be in or high res decals for their TSPP, LOTR or SM? I doubt this is the type of thing they will be selling, but one can dream.

Stern is remaking Nineball with Dirty Donny art ! Bring on the new classics series with drop targets please

Go ahead, tell yourself this IS a great idea.

Flight 2000 would be a better idea and title

Btw, contacted Dirty Donny about a signed poster, he tried to sell me a painted Sparky, for $500.00 lol

Like maybe they could be working on another Metaillica Premium model.. a guy can dream can't he?

Bring the dead back to life .......please
In other words , make the walking dead ....

    #31 10 years ago

Someone pointed out in another thread that the pic of DD and Gary is from quite some time ago, because all pics from the past few months have DD sporting a pretty full beard.

Looks like maybe Stern is gonna be selling some signed DD stuff on their e-store.

Probably make more sense for DD to pimp his custom Sparky's there than on his site...more pinhead traffic.
