Trying to swap my stock piston target (MET Pro) for a generic Marco target (#B-14060-8). Looking at the terminals and discovering some dissimilarity in terms of diode placement.
On the left is the stock, still-wired target. On the right is the Marco target I hope to substitute.
Stock wiring is white to terminal one; green to terminal three; and black end of diode to terminal one and grey end to terminal two.
The Marco switch has the black end of the diode on terminal one and the grey end on terminal three.
The targets are taped together in the same orientation.
How will I wire the new target? I'm assuming its diode is in the right place from the factory. Do I simply solder white to terminal one and green to three, or will it also be necessary to move the grey end of the diode to terminal two?
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thanks for reading my post.
