If that doesn’t resolve the issue then either reflow the solder on the boards or just replace them (fairly inexpensive). I’ve had to replace those boards on several of the Sterns I’ve owned over the years. This is a very common problem and almost certainly the cause of your issue.
This. My AC/DC prem had this ball end problem. Never saw the issue in test.
Had to remove and add new solder to the connector pins on the opto boards. Fixed it. I know its weird since the opto is the number 1 and jam I think.
Had this problem with the TNT bank optos also. Must be a cheap method to solder wash the boards.
