How often do you guys change your battery's on Sam systems.

Is the any replacement like naviram that can be used

I know BIOs batterys in games like fast and furious drift usually last around 5 years. My SM was run in 1997 just dont want a problem down the road.

I just emailed Pat. I will let you know what his answer is when he responds Doug. Im sure they must be changed at some point just a matter of when .

Patrick got back to me and Stern recommends to change Sam battery's every 5 years. He also said it is safe to change them with the power on
