I have never heard of anyone replacing one. World Poker Tour is coming up on 8 years....I'm not sure how long a coin battery usually lasts.

    Quoted from hoby1:

I know BIOs batterys in games like fast and furious drift usually last around 5 years. My SM was run in 1997 just dont want a problem down the road.

I really don't know much about the coin type batteries. I have heard they won't corrode, they will just poop out. That seems to usually be the main concern when it comes to the topic of changing batteries in a game.

I wonder if you can hot swap them out (with the game on) as people do with the double As in other games to save your settings / high scores?
