I agree with this. Stern wants its LE's to be collectable. Tron LE taking off like it did was great for Stern and for pinball in general frankly.
Still, would be nice for 1,000 other pin collectors to get their hands on the full playable version of Tron. I wouldn't mind my LE losing value since I will never sell the machine.
