Personally I think we’re on the cusp of hyperinflation. Prices are skyrocketing on a lot of luxury items and it just hasn’t caught on yet with normal consumer goods; that’s why it’s not getting reported on. I’ve only really noticed it on used or hobby items, for example used pins, retro video games, Pokémon cards, classic cars, dogs, etc. All of these thing you can live without, but all of them (including many more things) have went up huge in the last year and a half. We’re just starting to really notice it on things like building materials, copper, fuel, etc. But everything is going up, and I think it’s going to get a lot worse.
