    Quoted from Hayfarmer:

Is there a single product anywhere that has gone down in price this year? Food, metal, wood, labor, fuel etc,,,,,

Fourth of July BBQ cookout was allegedly 16 cents cheaper this year, though the source of this information is questionable.

    Quoted from DakotaMike:

True, but up until recently the prices tended to go up $100 or $200 dollars at a time. Now $500 to $1000 price-hikes seem to be the norm.

    That cuts into topper money.

Complaining about inflation on a pinball machine forum seems normal to me.

    Extremely questionable

My guess is they have enough demand that the price increase will cover any pre-order dropouts and they'll still make a ton of money. Even with the increase in material cost. Personally, it's finally over my price point based on what you actually get with a Stern. I've had about 17 Sterns in the past. We have a brand new Mandalorian premium but I just could not justify it for $8,500.

Side note, I told my distributor on 100% in on a Cactus Canyon now! Well, as long as there's not a huge price increase with Chicago. LOL

If American Pinball could get their act together on licensed themes this would be an opportune time to carve out a meaningful share by pricing below Stern. They seem to have the manufacturing competency and capitalization to forgo short term profits for long term share.

How much did the MSRP go up? I've been trying to find the number but not having much luck...
