I am working on a POTC that will not start the HEART mode. Both the opto and mechanical switches associated with the chest needed repair. Now both switches work in test and during game play. A player can collect the key pieces, but subsequent shots on the chest only award some points. The chest will not open (but solenoid does work in test) nor will lights inside light up. Even if the lid were stuck, the game should still have sound effects for the heart, but it does not.

The game is running the latest software.

Any suggestions on what to try next?

I could not find any option in the menu system to disable/enable features. I did reset to factory settings.
