I have had this a few times now and I’ve had enough. Been told this is normal. If this is the new normal then I’m out. I’ve told my distributor that we can open the box and if it has ribbing I don’t want it. I’m not paying a good amount of money for something I’ll be unhappy with.
I know it doesn’t really affect gameplay but I enjoy looking at my games just as much as playing them and the light from the backbox reflecting off this looks like $h!t.

I have my backbox brightness at zero during a game. Seems a bit silly to have it turned down in attract mode. May as well just switch it off.
This was my last one to have it and the entire playfield was like it. If you run your fingers across the ribs you can actually feel it. Very noticeable. My last nib was a guardians and it was beautiful so definitely not all like it but a good friend of mine got one from the same run and it’s horrible.
