Maybe I'm in the minority here but whenever I hear of a new Stern pinball I get excited....that is until I see it or play it. I get the feeling they have this cookie cutter formula to their games and just toss a toy somewhere onto the playfield and call it a day. The license is different but the games all just seem very average to me in gameplay, art or both but definitely not worth the purchase especially the LE's at $8400. Stern's best titles recently are AC/DC, Metallica, & Star Trek. All the rest are just ok. Maybe it's code that lags behind that really hurts these new releases but I'm just not impressed with most new Sterns.

I was really hoping for a killer Munsters but I'm not impressed from what I've seen and for the money I can purchase a Monster Bash that is a great pinball.

I guess I'll sit Munsters out and wait and see if they announce Godzilla after springtime as the new Godzilla: King of Monsters movie is due out and Stern does have that license. Maybe it's Bryan Eddy's new game?

What about iron maiden even if you don't like it most of the pinball community has considered it one of the better Stern games they have produced.

People bash Ghostbusters but that was a totally different layout too. IM already mentioned .
And if you wanna talk same ol same ol fan layouts the MB youre gonna buy instead sits near the top of that list.

    Quoted from Chicoman:

but I'm not impressed from what I've seen

You’ve seen exactly what ALL of us have seen for Munsters...which is basically, di<k and squat!
Don’t tell me you’ve already mentally packed up and gone home over some grainy-ass-low-res leaked PRO pics from a random dude’s phone?

Did you see the premium/LE PF yet???
    How did it flip?
Was the upper or lower PF not that great to shoot?
Was Spot or Herman sculpted poorly?

    C’mon Chico!
You gotta be a better “keeper of the silver ball” than that.

How about trying a left spinner orbit, left ramp, center spinner, right loop to katana ramp ball lock combo on a Deadpool premium/LE to cheer you up?

I know it always puts a smile on my face when I can string that sweet 5-way combo up on that very NON-cookie cutter layout.

Just don’t forget to build that BOOM! button for a SUPER BOOM!!!
