for someone who lives in an area devoid of playable machines this is the best option i have to learn the rules so when I can actual play a decent one I can work on my nudging skills... which are terrible.

Quoted from westofrome:I can't seem to get landscape mode to work in iOS? And yes, I'm rotating the phone before I start a game, like in traditional Pinball Arcade.
I noticed this too. I'm playing on an iPad mini. I also can't enter my initials although I didn't purchase anything yet. It zooms in pass the controls to allow to put them in. These seem like minor issues an update will solve.
The table history for Mustang doesn't list the designer or anything other than the standard press release about the car ?
Quoted from JJHLH:I just found out that you will have to start the app with your device in landscape. The rotation is currently locked but it will play in landscape if you do that.
Steam will reportedly be released later today.
Star Trek looks pretty good on it, and sounds great with earphones. Such an awesome game. They have a long rules section on it too which is nice.
I will try that out. The interface needs a lilts tweaking. I tried learning the rules on Mustang and you get a tiny screen. I like they were trying something different but there's lots of stuff to fix.
I was wondering if anyone else bought a physical copy of Stern Pinball arcade for the switch. It shipped 1.0, and updated to 1.1 after using the game initially. I've noticed something strange. I downloaded the game from the e-shop to play Frankenstein for free and try it out, I noticed at the time the software was updated to 1.2 which included landscape/portrait modes yet my cartridge version remains at ver 1.1 even after attempting to check/force and update. Maybe I'm doing something wrong or they're updating one and fixing the other later on? Early this morning i did see an update for version 1.3 and I was still was unable to update successfully.
Also, all of the games play better than my iOS versions but Ghost Busters has most of the same issues on the switch. the audio sounds clipped/over modulated on both.
Quoted from Groo:Yes, they posted in their latest newsletter that a patch for the cartridge version is coming shortly. The static in the Ghostbusters audio is annoying and a bit of slow down here and there, but I sure do like playing them on my rotated TV.
saw this thread up near the top... i forgot to factor in FarSight time difference into the equation. I'm not knocking them they're on every platform but soon & shortly sometimes translates to a couple months or more
