I'm interested to see/hear as well.

Jesus. When's the encore? Haha. I just hope it's somewhat good BC these glass prices are ridiculous.
thanks for the video. Love the dramatic music associated with 1st world problems of glass not being clear enough. Seriously though that was a great way to show the diff. Roman glass = PDI?
too bad this thread is turning into a fight b/w if PDI glass is worth it or not. I would love to hear about whether stern's glass is actually good or not once it's available. To the guys buying it without hearing feedback first, thanks for helping the rest of us.
Can the people who want to fight about glass open another topic and stop commenting in this one? I keep on checking when I see new response b/c I actually want to hear if the stern glass is good or not. Unfortunately this has been almost 7 pages of nonsense jesus - we get it. Some people think it's worth it, some don't. Who cares. Let's hear about results people.
Quoted from Deafcon:My glass is slated to arrive tomorrow via UPS. I'll get some pictures and first impression posted tomorrow evening. I have a BTTF, TSPP and GB. The TSPP probably has the worst glare issues.
Awesome - can't wait to hear.
That video alone is making me want to buy one. Wow - literally looks like nothing is there. It's the same machine i would use it on too.
239 shipped? or shipping on top?
damn still close to 300 bucks....for glass. damn. But it looks great. Will need to hear some feedback. Nintendo switch = glass for pinball. It just seems nuts.
Quoted from Number41:You can change the shipping method - it defaulted to $43 USPS Priority Mail when I started checkout and I was able to change it to $25 UPS Ground (this is for 1 sheet shipping to MA). Made me come very, very close to pulling the trigger...
so 239+25 = 264 total? I might be in for that.
damn - the gb pics comparison is REALLY disappointing. I was hoping top portion would be cut down but if it's just that the bottom looks better. not sure I can drop 260 for that
any chance this is at the pinball show in ohio? still not sold but at least i would save on shipping...
My problem is not the DMD glare (i have that $7 plastic piece to address that) BUT the translite/backglass reflection. Whats the best way to reduce that glare besides lower backglass light?
Quoted from Haymaker:Somewhat unrelated but as some others and I have pointed out the DMD glare eliminators from comet work wonders. I imagine using one of these in conjunction with anti glare glass would help significantly. I have attached some before and after pictures with the glare eliminators for reference. Please note this is on standard glass.
Someone also mentioned the piece that pinball life sells. I have no experience with it, but I'm sure it works well too. I just think it's kind of ugly. With this product from comet you won't even know it's there after it's installed.
That's impressive. Is there enough to put on the backglass b/c the website only mentions DMD.
damn that's huuuuuuuuuuge. I might have to try this stuff out. Dammit. Is it going to be available at the ohio show - anyone know? I can check on the thread too.
My glare is really not the bottom of the table though - it's the back and it's due to the backglass mostly. Yes I know there are other ways to reduce but it seems like there are varying results with this glass with the last one looking really good.
