I have a sheet of Stern's new glass on order. I'll report back once it arrives.

My glass is slated to arrive tomorrow via UPS. I'll get some pictures and first impression posted tomorrow evening. I have a BTTF, TSPP and GB. The TSPP probably has the worst glare issues.

My glass arrived today. I tried it in TSPP, BG and Back to the future. I left it in Ghostbusters. It doesn't it eliminate dmd or backbox reflection. It does reduce it. It does look far more clear than regular glass. I had 4 people over that aren't pinball people and they agreed it was almost like there was no glass in some areas. Is it worth $240? Probably not, but I'm still going to buy 3 more sheets for my other games.

    Quoted from Blackjacker:

Jesus Christ, why do I commute 2 hours each way to work every day?

I work as a system technician for Mercedes Benz.... nobody "needs" a $130,000 S-Class, but boy, it sure is nice. Anti-glare glass is much same. (No, I do not own a Mercedes, maybe someday though).

Over the weekend I was doing some work in the backbox of my TSPP, which has Sterns HD glass. I thought I had the playfield glass out. I tried to set my fluke meter on the playfield twice and it kept hitting something. It was the glass which I hadn't removed. The glass doesn't elimate the backbox/dmd glare. It does reduce it. The glass does however look almost completely invisible otherwise. I've now had numerous people over and they all think there isn't glass. Even my wife who thought it was stupid to spend that much on glass now admits it's looks a lot better than normal glass.
