I just put in 4 pieces of PDI that I picked up from local pinhead. All the guests (non pin heads) that I have over, see a noticeable difference in colors and transparency compared to the regular glass. So it wasn't just about glare for me. One of my guests actually had to put their finger on the glass to make sure it was on the pin.

It's everyone's money to spend the best way they see fit. I'd never buy a $500 Stern topper (at least the ones made so far) but I'll be happy for anyone who wants one and picks it up, who am I to judge.

I've almost put my hand through a sheet of PDI before because my glass was on and off on a few different pins as I was working on them and I literally thought the glass was off and reached to the PF like an idiot. I felt like those people that walk into an arcadia door and feel really stupid. It really is a night and day comparison from regular glass.
