The last pinball Stern Electronics produced, released in 1982.
Only 889 units worldwide make this widebody game extremely rare.
In good working order.
See photos for details of actual machine for sale.
Mr. Pinball Price Guide 2014 Book Value = $1800 USD

Some info from the previous owner:

"- MPU, solenoid driver and lamp driver were ALL NEW ALLTEK BOARDS and the power supply was rebuilt when I sold it. I doubt that changed.
- backbox is all LED'ed.
- displays were PERFECT and original
- SB300 sound board and VSU100 speech board completely gone over
- new plastics set from CPR installed

Important facts... This is a superb example. Good luck trying to find another..."

This is my old Orbitor 1. A very nice machine.
I set her up where she sits now with the current owner.

A previous owner before me did all of the work on this machine.
A clean example if you are looking for this title.

What happened with this? Was it not up for 1800, sold, then up shortly after again for 2k, sold, now up again for 1800?

Do you have a whole basement full of O1s?

It's a long story.

It's a unique game, they have one at PAPA. You can actually cradle the ball on those flippers. It's cool but gets old quick, not much to do. I have a gameplay video, I'll try to upload it and post a link to it. If you have never seen this in action, it's an amazing effect. Took me a while to figure out how it worked. once you know the trick, it makes perfect sense.

Ugly looking cuss.

Naw, strange, but it's not that ugly. Put some blue and green LED's in it and it will look like the moon! I'd love to own one someday, but this one is out of my range.

Oh it looks really cool, no question. I just hate the play with a passion. But it would almost survive on looks alone. If you haven't seen one of these first hand it's hard to appreciate the PF.

I love Orbitor 1. PAPA has one.

In a collection of 400+ machines, it's a must-have, but it'd be fun to have in any double-digit collection.

When I bring non-pinball people to PAPA, Obitor 1 is one of the games I make sure to have them play.

Man if this were in the states, I would have considered it. I think Orbitor 1 is a crazy cool game.
