Hello. I am hooking up an opto spinner from a game like Beatles to my homebrew. Like a standard opto set there’s an transmitter and receiver. I just need to know the voltages for supply each.
The transmitter has ground and V+. Red is V+. I am assuming 5v and they have current limiting on the board. But any confirmation would be nice. The receiver has ground V+ and switch. Again assuming 5v. But confirmation and do I need anything else to hook to multimorphic.
    Thanks
    Ed

Pictures of the spinner for reference.

Ok. For the answer. 5v for both boards. No current limiting resistors. I tied both v+ together and both grounds. Then brought in four wires. 5v + and ground. And sw-16 ground and switch wire. Tied all v+ together and all four grounds. Then switch to switch. Works as normal switch as p3-roc sees it. No need to make it a NC in code.
